The Town of Windermere "Among the Lakes", is well known for its beautifully scenic chain of lakes and prestigious lakefront real estate.  The design of Windermere's Town Logo was actually based on inspiration from the Town of Windermere, England. The logo is a crest, divided into four symbolic pictures; thus resembling a coat of arms. 

The top left quarter of the Windermere crest reflects three Windermere class yachts.

The 2012 Windermere, FL 8th Annual Holiday Boat Parade will take place on Saturday December 22, 2012 starting at 5:00pm.

Holiday themed decorations will adorn locals boats as they parade along the shores of Lake Butler and Wausan Bay, touring around some of Central Florida's most prestigious real estate.
