Windermere, Florida, may not be known for its nightlife scene, unless you count the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks (and honestly, we do). What it IS known for is its laid-back small-lake-town vibe. It is ideal for those seeking a bit of an escape from city life, while still being about 30 minutes from the heart of it all in downtown Orlando or a short drive from date nights on Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips.
