There is a difference between visiting a place and living inside a lifestyle. For us, living in Windermere means waking up in a town where community still matters, where schools are not just buildings but relationships, and where daily life includes something a little bit magical just down the road.
It also means we get to be fans. Not in the surface-level, tourist way. In the deeply woven, we get to include WDW into the family lifestyle.

We know, this is a big claim, and while it may be argued that there are "better" options for top pastries or nostalgic sweet treats at Disney, I think we can safely say that the giant cinnamon roll at the Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs is right up there with the best of the best. One of the ways we love being a Disney local is the ability to sneak off to the parks or Disney Springs on a whim to enjoy a meal. Brunch at Disney Springs is no exception, and the Summer House is a repeat on our list.
