Orange County Florida Parks & RecreationThe Orange County Parks & Recreation Department operates over 90 local parks, serving all county residents including Orlando residents in the areas of Windermere, Dr. Phillips, and Winter Park.

When the parks and recreation program originally began in 1924, the County operated a mere 8 acres of land. To date, Orange County now operates an estimated 16,000 acres of community parks, with a vast variety of activities offered.

Whether you are interesting in rollerblading, basketball, baseball, camping, or just enjoying a nice afternoon picnic, there are activities for all interests and all ages.
