Arnold Palmer Invitational - Bay Hill, Dr. Phillips

The Dr. Phillips golf course community of Bay Hill will be hosting the 2012 Arnold Palmer Invitational on March 19 - 25, 2012. President Obama Visits Isleworth in Windermere Florida

President Obama will be visiting Windermere, FL next week, for a lavish fundraiser being held at NBA Star - Vince Carter's home in the community of Isleworth.

Tickets to the event being held on Thursday February 23rd, 2012 cost $30,000 per plate.

The President's campaign fundraiser will take place on the same weekend as the 2012 NBA All-Star festivities, which is being hosted at the Amway Center in Downtown Orlando.

Windermere Holiday Boat Parade

The 2012 Windermere, FL 8th Annual Holiday Boat Parade will take place on Saturday December 22, 2012 starting at 5:00pm.

Holiday themed decorations will adorn locals boats as they parade along the shores of Lake Butler and Wausan Bay, touring around some of Central Florida's most prestigious real estate. Winter Park Holiday Ice Skating Rink

"Winter in the Park" - Holiday Ice Skating Rink is the city's annual outdoor ice skating rink located in Downtown Winter Park, at the Central Park West Meadow. "Winter in the Park" is taking place from November 18, 2011 - January 8th, 2012.  

Enjoy the fun of ice skating in shorts and a t-shirt. Take your entire family to enjoy ice skating outside, in the mild Orlando climate.

All day skating is just $10 per skater. (Skate rentals are available for an extra fee.)

Orlando CVB Endless Summer Campaign

The Orlando - Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau has a new marketing campaign that was recently announced by President Gary Sain. Sain made the announcement at an industry-wide luncheon, which had over six hundred and fifty guests. This marketing campaign focuses on keeping summer in bloom all year round with the tag line “Endless Summer – It’s not a season. It’s a state of mind.”

The luncheon was one event in a day-long program that the bureau hosted for those in the industry to let them know the status of the first year’s marketing tactics and to let them know what the next year will bring.
