District 1, Orange County Commissioner Scott Boyd published notice today of the upcoming Public Hearing for the West Orange Relief High School, proposed to be built in Windermere, FL.

ORANGE COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Orange County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a public hearing on April 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, Orange County Administration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida.

You are invited to attend and be heard regarding the following matter:  Proposed options for a Settlement Agreement between the Orange County School Board and Orange County concerning the ongoing court litigation between the School Board and Orange County relating to the BCC's Nov. 5, 2013, denial of Orange County Public Schools' request for a special exception in an R-CE zone to construct a public high school at the property located at 5505 Winter Garden Vineland Road Windermere, FL 34786, generally located on the east side of Winter Garden Vineland Road, just north of the intersection of Winter Garden Vineland Road and Ficquette Road; Parcel lD 14-23-27-0000-00-013; S-T-R: 14-23-27; Orange County, Florida (legal property description on file).
