How a Simple Tradition Can Bring Smiles to Children Across Orange County This Christmas

Every December, the Funk's holiday party is more than a festive get-together. It’s a tradition built around generosity, community spirit, and the simple joy of brightening a child’s Christmas. This year marked another meaningful chapter as agents from The Funk Collection and eXp Realty arrived with unwrapped new toys in hand, ready to support local families through the Orange County Mayor’s Toy Drive.

It was also a pleasure welcoming Tonya John, eXp Realty State Broker, who joined the celebration and the effort to give back.

Delivering Toys to the Orange County Mayor’s Holiday Drive in Windermere

Jeff and Renee gathered the toys and made the trip to Butler-Tibet Preserve in Windermere to deliver them for the Mayor’s Toy Drive. The drive has been serving Orange County families for 15 years and has collected nearly 97,000 toys since 2011. Every donation stays local, supporting youth and family agencies that make a real difference for kids and teens during the holidays.

For Jeff and Renee, this part of the tradition always carries a special meaning. Watching toys move from the base of the tree to the trunk of the car, then into the hands of those coordinating the drive, puts everything into perspective.

The generosity on display this year echoed one of eXp’s core values we hold close: Community, along with a shared belief that giving back is a privilege, and that even the smallest gesture can spark a smile.

Thank You to Every Agent Who Helped Make This Season Brighter

Grateful for every agent, partner, and friend who helped bring joy to local families this season. The ripple effect of kindness reaches farther than any of us can see, and it’s a privilege to be part of a community that gives so generously.
