A Disney Day with the Ranchers of Edgewood Children’s Ranch and Jeff & Renee Funk

For over a decade, Jeffrey Funk has had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for Edgewood Children’s Ranch, a place committed to restoring families and giving at-risk youth the tools to thrive. Long before joining the board, the Funk family supported the Ranch because they believe deeply in helping children right here in our own backyard. When you can see exactly who is receiving the community’s effort, the impact becomes personal. That matters to the Funk Family.
This fall, Jeff & Renee had the privilege of gifting thirty seven ranchers, cottage parents, and Edgewood staff with a Magical Day at Disney. For many of the kids, it was their very first time stepping inside Walt Disney World & Magic Kingdom. Several ran up to hug Jeff & Renee with words they were not expecting:
“I have never been to Disney in my life.”
“I never thought I would ever have the chance to be here.”
“I rode Space Mountain for the very first time in my life!”
“I loved riding so many rides and seeing Mickey Mouse.”
Those moments stay with you. Those words hit the heart.
Edgewood Children’s Ranch has been part of The Funk Collection real estate team and the Funk family’s heart for many years. The Ranch stands for love, structure, education, and hope for children who have faced serious challenges. Supporting the mission of helping families in Orlando is something we take to heart. This Disney Day reminds us why.
