The Orlando food scene has exploded over the last several years, with tons of new restaurants popping up all over the metro area. A great way to explore many of the restaurants around the area is during Orlando's Magical Dining. Celebrating its 21st year, this event spans six weeks from August 14th to September 30th, and features more than 180 local restaurants, including 15 Michelin Guide eateries. Diners can take advantage of three-course dinner selections from $40 or $60 per person. There is no better way to try out a new spot or even a new area around Orlando. What is New for 2026 Orlando's Magical Dining?
With a record number of 188 participating restaurants, there is more choice than ever to get out and dine around Orlando. There are over 30 first-time participating restaurants. With 16 Michelin Guide-recognized restaurants on the list, this special pricing gives a great opportunity to try new experiences at an amazing price point. A dedicated mobile app was developed for 2026, giving access to all participating restaurants, see menus and pricing, add to favorites, link to reservations, and take part in a fun challenge.
Where Can Locals Experience Magical Dining Around Orlando?
With over 180 locations, we can't name them all, but let's take a look at the options broken down by location. As a local, it's a great way to get out and explore.
West orlando
Most of the West Orlando options are centered in Dr. Phillips and Resort areas, but there are some additional highlights in the north and southwest areas of Orlando, including downtown Winter Garden's Chef's Table at Edgewater or Hamlin's Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine. Located in Northwest Orlando, you'll find the Nauti Lobstah, located on the West Orange Trail in Apopka, Florida. We had a chance to visit during the last Magical Dining event and had a great experience. Everything from the lobster bisque to the lobster choices was fantastic. Although it's not on their 2026 Magical Dining menu, be sure to check out their famous 2-ft lobster roll.
Dr. Phillips (Restaurant Row) & International Drive
Southwest Orlando, especially Dr. Phillips and Restaurant Row, is a natural choice for Orlando's Magical Dining, along with International Drive; there are more than 50 dining options to pick from, including everything from steakhouses to sushi, Italian to Latin influences. For our fellow Southwest Orlandoans living in Windermere and Dr. Phillips, this is your neck of the woods, making it convenient for a spontaneous date night or weekend treat.
Disney Springs & the Lake Buena Vista Area
An ideal way to experience the magic without needing a park ticket, there are several options around the Resort areas, including Disney Springs and Lake Buena Vista. Choose from resort dining, offering Italian specialties at the Swan Reserve or WDW Swan Resort, to the Four Seasons' Ravello Restaurant, or Spanish flair at Jaleo at Disney Springs.
Downtown Orlando
Check out the city skyline and head into downtown Orlando for a selection of options like Michelin Guide Asian cuisine at Kabooki Sushi, Kaya, or Sushi Saint. Locations range from the Universal Resort area to Celebration and beyond.
Orlando's Magical Dining Gives Back
As part of the annual Magic Dining program, each year part of the proceeds is donated to local charities. For every $40 meal, $1 is donated, and for every $60 meal, $2 is donated. This year's benefiting charity is OCA (Opportunity, Community Ability), which supports individuals with autism and other developmental differences. Funds raised will support therapy scholarships and programs. In addition, the following six organizations will each receive $3,000. Those charities include Children's Safety Village, Victim Service Center, Nathaniel's Hope, The Daily Bread, The Nurture Place, and NextStep Orlando.
